Our Signature Tour is the most complete way to experience Amsterdam. This half-day tour weaves through the city streets and canals, and you’ll sample some of the local flavors that define the city. You’ll begin on foot, with a private guide leading you through the heart of the old centre over two unhurried hours. You’ll follow the curve of the canals, pause beneath leaning gabled houses, and slip into the quiet corners that most visitors walk straight past. Along the way, you'll learn how the city grew during its mercantile rise, why the canal ring was built the way it was, and how modern Amsterdammers live alongside that storied history.

Next, you'll step aboard your own private canal boat for a ninety minute cruise. Seen from the water, the city seems to rearrange itself entirely. You'll sail beneath low bridges and cruise past tall facades and cosy houseboats. You’ll go through the UNESCO-listed canal ring, which remains one of the finest examples of urban planning anywhere in Europe. It is the most beautiful, and relaxed, way to experience the wonder of the city.
